Cricket forms
Cricket
Cricket "test" is a form of international cricket. The first
test-match took place on March 15, 1877, during the tour of the England team in
Australia in 1876-1877. There was no time limit, and the number of throws per
round was set at 4. The match ended on March 19 with a victory by Australia
with a 45-point lead.
Since then,
more than 1,000 test matches have been played. In 2000, the number of countries
able to play test matches rose to 10, with the arrival of Bangladesh. Nowadays,
test matches are played in 5 days without a day off.
Cricket "list A"
Cricket
"A list" is at " one day cricket" what the first-class is at cricket test.
Most cricket nations have "list A" competitions. The rounds are
usually limited, the limit runs from 40 to 60. This category does not have an
official existence for the ICC. It is an invention of the Association of
Cricket Historians and Statiticians (ACHS), forged for parallel with fist-class
.
Cricket club
The cricket
club is an amateur cricket, but with formal rules. In the vast majority of
cases, the number of rounds is limited, usually to 30 or 35 per period. The
cricket club is practiced intensively in the cricket nations, but also
elsewhere by their emigrants. It is common to meet club cricket pitches whose
pitch is synthetic grass.
