CRICKET

Let's talk about the national sport of Pakistan now. As you can see it is cricket. Cricket is played between two teams of eleven players, on an oval field usually turf, which measures 135 meters by 150. The teams are normally composed of players with complementary qualities: some are rather drummers, others rather pitchers some are comfortable in both positions. Finally, the goalkeeper behind the box office, with special protective equipment, is often a separate player. Pakistan has the status "test" and the status "ODI".

Pakistan has won a single world cup in 1992 (the Benson and Hedges World Cup) between Pakistan and England. Pakistan also played in the ICC World Cup final in 1999 but was defeated by Australia.
